Chance for women to play foorball in Burnley

A NUMBER of sessions are being delivered in Burnley to give local women the chance to play football and hockey for fun, without joining a league.
Both sessions are running at Shuttleworth School. Hockey on Mondays from 7pm 8pm, which is £3, and a free football session on Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm.
These sessions are being by Burnley Council’s sport and play development unit, the Step 2 It women’s group and Witton Warriors hockey club.
The aim is to give local women the chance to have fun, get fit and maybe take up a new sport.
