A FINAL call for potential trustees for the new Burnley Leisure Trust is being made.
The trustees will be responsible for the management and operation of the council’s leisure and arts facilities.
Working in partnership with the council, it will help Burnley to achieve its vision for leisure and arts in the area.
Coun John Harbour, the council’s executive member for leisure and culture, said: “We have had a good response so far, but have also extended the deadline by a couple of days to ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity of reading the information and sending an application in.”
The information is available at www.burnley.gov.uk/residents/sport-culture/plans-leisure-trust-burnley and completed applications should be sent back by 5pm on Wednesday, October 23.
Alternatively send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, with Trustee Recruitment in the title box, and an information pack will be sent to you.
Potential trustees should be committed to promoting leisure and arts in Burnley but also have specialist skills such as finance, legal, marketing and human resources.
