Barnoldswick man's sex case jury out

AN ex- senior police analyst has been cleared of two sex offences against children.
Mark Dallison, 45, was found not guilty of one count of sexual activity with a female and one of raping a boy, by a Burnley Crown Court jury.
Dallison, of Melville Avenue, Barnoldswick, had been accused of and denied two allegations of sexual activity with a child and three charges of rape against the girl, and one count of sexual activity with a child and and three charges of rape against the boy.
The jury, which began deliberations yesterday, was due to consider verdicts on the other seven allegations today.
