HOMEOWNERS in Burnley who are registered disabled or over 60 could be eligible for small grants to improve home electrical safety.
The scheme aims to improve electrical safety in the homes of vulnerable people by providing funding to carry out essential minor electrical works in the home.
Helen Stansfield, Preston Care and Repair director, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Electrical Safety Council to deliver this electrical safety home improvement scheme in Burnley.
“Helping vulnerable people to stay safe in their own homes is at the heart of what we do as a Home Improvement Agency and we are here to offer advice and support as well as oversee any work required.
Homeowners in Burnley who want to know more about the grants or get practical advice about electrical safety and other home safety issues should contact Preston Care and Repair on 01282 705607.
