Burnley man's chance to keep job
12:27pm Monday 23rd September 2013 in News
A MAN who flouted a court order was given a curfew as a judge didn't want to him to lose his new job.
Daniel Conway, 34, had been given the order in March, but admitted failing to comply with it, at Burnley Crown Court. The hearing heard he had now turned his life around.
Conway, of Hollingreave Road, Burnley, recently received a curfew at Burnley Magistrates ‘Court and he was given another at the higher court.
Recorder John Jones, QC, said it was not in the interests of the defendant or the public to take his " responsible and well-paid" job from him, by sending him to prison.
Conway received a three month curfew order, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, between 8pm and 8am.
