LANCASHIRE’S best tourism attractions are urged to try for upcoming awards.
The new-look Lancashire Tourism Awards will be held at Blackburn’s Cathedral this November.
Special guest presenter for the evening will be travel writer Simon Calder who will hand awards to the county’s brightest and best.
Lancashire’s tourism businesses attract more than 62 million visitors. The awards aim to recognise and celebrate contributions to this £3.4billion visitor economy.
A spokeswoman for the awards said: “With more opportunities than ever before and a range of new categories, there’s something for every tourism business to aim for.
“A simpler application and judging process could see your business step into the spotlight.
“Celebrate with the friends and finalists, network with sponsors and enjoy great food in the magnificent surroundings as we recognise our tourism superstars.”
