A BURNLEY cage fighter who headed a Lancashire drugs gang profited to the tune of £600,000, a court has ruled.
Before being jailed for 16 years for terrorising Lancaster’s Ryelands estate, Anthony Diprose, 28, was a tee-total martial art expert.
And while masterminding an operation which included cocaine dealing, gun-running and money laundering, he fought for Plumbe Street-based Sinclair MMA.
Now Diprose, and fellow gang members, have appeared before a judge at Preston Crown Court under Proceeds of Crime Act legislation.
He has been ordered to repay £75,920, from his criminal conduct, within six months or face another 20 months in prison.
Financial Investigator Anna Willetts said: “Diprose lived a lavish lifestyle with designer clothes, expensive jewellery and a high value Range Rover.”
