Barrowford park friends in clean up and plant sale

THE next meeting of the Friends of Barrowford Memorial Park is on April 22 at 7pm at Holmefield House.
It will be the annual meeting followed by a general discussion. Around that there are several related events in Barrowford.
On April 6 the River Ribble Trust has arranged a clean-up at Victoria Park starting at 10.30am from the pavilion.
Gloves and bags will be available but volunteers who wish to help with the river clean-up are advised to wear wellingtons or strong boots.
On April 13 a plant sale will be held at Holmefield House from 10am to 1pm, organised by the Barrowford in Bloom volunteers.
On April 27 a clean-up of Bull Holme playing fields has been arranged, meeting at 1pm at the car park.
