Teenagers accused of raid on Nelson bookies

TWO teenage boys have been charged with a robbery at a bookmakers.
A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old, both from Brierfield, will appear at Burnley Magistrates’ Court today, after the incident at Ladbrokes, in Scotland Road, Nelson, on Tuesday at 7pm.
The boys cannot be named for legal reasons.
A 22-year-old woman, who was working alone at the time, was said to be ‘traumatised’ after thieves stole hundreds of pounds from the till during the robbery.
A 16-year-old boy from Nelson was arrested on suspicion of robbery but was later released without charge on Wednesday afternoon.
