Pole dance routine opens hair event

AN EAST Lancashire dance and fitness entrepreneur has been selected to open the biggest event in the hairdressing calendar the ‘Pro Hair Live Exhibition’ on Manchester’s Deansgate.
Charlotte De Curtis, former British Isles and European dance champion and owner of Flava Dance and Fitness Studio in Colne, will be performing a Bond-themed pole fitness routine, representing the likes of Fudge, Joico and Schwartzcopf hair products.
Charlotte, who lives in Burnley, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be opening the show and giving the audience a taste of what pole fitness is all about.
“It has so many negative connoctations but as I always tell people, gymnasts have parallel bars, we have a vertical pole. It’s a fantastic way to get in shape as well as a beautiful art form to watch.”
The show takes place on March 24 and 25.
