Burnley travel agent crowned best branch in the region

A LONG-established independent travel agents in Burnley has been crowned the best branch in the region.
Althams Travel, based in St James's Street, scooped the gong in the Northwest and Yorkshire and Humberside regional categories of the Jet2holidays Trade Awards. The firm won a total of six awards which were presented by Jet2holidays Trade Sales Executive Simon Marshall to Eddie Starkie and Sandra McAllister, the Althams Travel Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director respectively.
Althams was established in 1874 and is one of the UK's longest established travel agents. Alan Cross, Jet2holidays General Manager of Trade Sales, said: “It is great to work with Althams Travel, a company that is very highly regarded in the Lancashire region.
“They fully deserve these awards and Jet2holidays are delighted that customers can book their holidays through this travel agency chain.”
