Dewsbury man admits sex charges at Burnley Crown Court

A man is facing a custodial sentence, after admitting six sex charges at Burnley Crown Court.

Alan Sutcliffe, 60, pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent assault, which took place between 1998 and 2000 and four allegations of sexual assault, between 2005 and 2010.

The defendant, of Clarkson Street, Dewsbury Moor, Dewsbury, was bailed until February 25, for a pre-sentence report, and will be sentenced by Judge Jonathan Gibson, at Preston Crown Court. He was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register.
