Burnley shift worker was over the limit

A WAREHOUSE shift worker was found to be more than twice the limit after he was seen driving 'erratically' on Colne Road, Burnley, a court heard.

Allan Henry Sturdy, 29, was breath tested and gave a sample showing 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Sturdy, of Hawthorne Road, Burnley, admitted driving with excess alcohol, on Abel Street, in the town, last December 21. He was banned for three years and fined £250, with a £25 victim surcharge.
