A MAN had to be cut free from his car after a crash in Thursby Road, Burnley.
Police, fire and paramedics were called to the scene at 11.15pm yesterday after reports of a road traffic collision and one person trapped.
Watch manager Neil Ashworth from Burnley fire station said: “On arrival there was a car with one 20-year-old man trapped in the vehicle. The driver was complaining of neck and back injuries.
“Ambulance and police were in attendance and we were asked by paramedics to remove the man on a spinal board.
“We had to take the roof off the car and take the casualty out of the car through the back.”
