THE Friends of Victoria Park in Nelson are aiming to encourage more people of all ages to become active members in their group.
They need people with different skills. Coun Nadeem Ahmed said: “So whether you're a horticulture expert, you have organisational skills, you've a head for figures or you just like being active in the fresh air, they'd love to hear from you.”
The Friends of Victoria Park will be running working days between 11am and 1pm on the first Saturday of every month beginning in February next year.
