RICHARDSON Jean "Cherry" On Monday 1st April 2024, Cherry peacefully passed away at The Manor House in Chatburn, where she had been lovingly cared for over the past two years. She was 96 years of age and is now reunited with her belovèd husband: John. Cherry was a much-loved mother of John, Mark and Mary, and a dear mother-in-law to Connie, Wendy and Stuart. A devoted "Ganny" to Charlie, Alex, JJ, Caroline, Peter and Lill, and great- grandma to Oscar, Rory, Henry, Emily, Max, Penelope, Otis and Rupert. Cherry will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends. A service and burial will be held on Friday 19th April 2024 at 11:30am at St Leonard's Church, Balderstone. Colourful clothes are encouraged to help celebrate her life. Family flowers only, or if so desired, donations may be made in memory of Cherry to The Christie Charity, c/o The Alty Funeral Service.
