BLUES band The Stumble are to launch their new album with a special show in Preston in June.

The home town gig on Saturday, June 2, at the Tonic nightclub will see the band playing songs from the album Lie To Me, which was recorded over three live sessions at the venue earlier this year.

This may be the last chance for some time to catch one of the UK’s best blues outfits locally, as the band are in demand at blues clubs and festivals in the UK and across Europe.

The Stumble — Paul Melville on vocals, guitarists Colin Black and Rob Livesey, Simon Anthony on sax, bassist Cameron Sweetnam and drummer Boyd Tonner — have been together for more than 10 years, playing a brand of Chicago-style rhythm and blues with a twist of soul.

Tickets cost £10 and can be reserved up to one week before the gig by contacting Colin Black on jcdblack@blue yonder.co.uk or by calling 07846 427810.
