PENDLE is to host its second guitar festival next month with workshops from leading players such as Fairport Convention’s Jerry Donahue.
The one-day event, on Sunday, June 24, will be held at the Ace Centre in Nelson.
The centre’s studio engineer Andrea Quarin said: “Last year’s event was a tremendous success with people coming from all over to attend.
“We had a fantastic day and a fantastic response from everyone who attended and we are hoping this year’s will be even better.”
There will be live music sessions featuring a variety of styles of music in the Jazz Cafe and among those taking part will be guitarists Chris Woods, Gavin Coulson and Scott Whitley.
“Free guitar lessons will also take place for all levels and a chance to make a free 10-minute recording in our studio,” said Andrea.
A variety of stalls will be selling guitars and every possible guitar accessor plus a display of vintage guitars.
Tickets are £4 in advance (£5 on the door). For details, contact 01282 661080.
