TUCKED away in the late night schedules is a little gem of a show which just gets better.
I’m referring to Reaper on ITV1 (you can also catch it on E4).
It’s completely silly but with a wonderfully dark edge which proves that Americans can do comedy if left to get on with it.
Having had his soul sold to the devil Sam Oliver works in a DIY store and as a bounty hunter for Beelzebub.
Add in some gay demons who are trying to overthrow the Lord of Darkness, his best mates who are clueless and the recent addition of Lucy Davis from the Office and you’re on to a winner.
Considering what rubbish gets shown earlier on in the listings it’s just a shame that only the nocturnal or those with an active Sky Plus machine will really get to discover the delights of Reaper.
