New homes plan for Blackburn's Eclipse Mill site

DETAILS have now been released for a housing development on the site of a former Blackburn Mill.
Councillors say residents welcome Preston-based Pringle Homes’ plans to build 38 homes on land where Eclipse Mill stood in Eclipse Road, Feniscowles.
Plans submitted to Blackburn with Darwen Council include a mix of three, four and five bedroomed houses in nine different styles, including semi-detached and detached.
All will be two-storeys and there will also be garages and drive space for up to 114 cars.
The properties would generally consist of a grey roof tile with a red and orange facing brickwork. Other facing features include grey tile hanging, buff render and coursed stonework.
