Death tests wait

A 61-year-old HGV driver died after being admitted to hospital with renal failure and severe diarrhoea.

Kenneth Woods, of Cotton Court, Colne, was admitted to the Royal Blackburn Hospital on April 26.

A post mortem examination has been carried out but further histology tests are needed to establish the cause of death.

Assistant deputy coroner Derek Baker adjourned the inquest into Mr Woods death until 2.30pm on August 5 at Blackburn Coroner's Court.
