PLAY AT THE FA / McDONALD’S NATIONAL FOOTBALL FESTIVAL – WIN A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE FOR YOUR CHILD’S TEAM

The FA Community Partner McDonald’s are offering a children’s team and their coach the once in a lifetime opportunity to take part in The FA / McDonald’s National Football Festival on Thursday August 6th.

The footballing and coaching event is the biggest of its kind with over 700 children getting the chance to live the dream by playing on the hallowed turf at Wembley as part of their action-packed day. And that’s not all – the children will get the chance to meet World Cup legend Sir Geoff Hurst, McDonald’s Director of Football, on a day they’re sure to never forget.

The prize allows for a Charter Standard level Under 10s age group team for the 2009/10 season of up to 14 youngsters (boys or girls aged 8 or 9 on August 31st 2009) and their coach to take part in a fun-filled day of football which includes mini-tournaments, a stadium tour and expert training from FA / McDonald’s qualified coaches.

The National Festival marks the highlight of this summer’s McDonald’s Football Open Day tour, which has seen McDonald’s franchisees partner with local football clubs to host free football Open Days in communities across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland as part of the McDonald’s community football programme which sees us sponsoring over 4,500 local football clubs and coaching over one million children.
