JOAN SMITHSON 1930 – 2014 Joan on Monday 24th November 2014 peacefully in her sleep aged 84. The dearly beloved wife of James, much loved mother of John and Martyn, very dear sister of Shirley, mother-in-law of Janet and Jacqueline and much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Reposing in the Prestons Funeral Home. Joan’s funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday 2nd December at 11am. The family request that no flowers are given but donations if desired to N.S.P.C.C. c/o Prestons Funeral Services, 36 Queen Street, Great Harwood, BB6 7QQ. 01254 882422
